Homemade Pupsicles

It’s such a beautiful day here today that I thought I’d share one of our favourites for keeping cool on hot summer days! These homemade pup friendly popsicles are super easy to make and your hound will love them!

Shopping list

  • Water
  • Apple Juice
  • Dog friendly fruit as preferred
  • Iced Lolly mould – we bought this one from Asda but you can find a similar one {here}
  • Mix half apple juice and half water

I filled 3 mould sections with water and poured them in a jug and then again with apple juice, gave it a stir and poured it back in the moulds. You could also just half fill each section with apple juice and then top up with water which might be easier if you have a little helper (hound or human!)

  • Add dog friendly fruit as desired.

You don’t have to but I find it makes it more interesting for Hugo and Holly and they’re more excited to lick and bite at the lolly which keeps them cooler for longer!

  • Freeze

You can make them ahead and keep them in the freezer or make them early in the morning and put the freezer on super freeze which is what we’ve done today!

  • Now Enjoy!!

Perfect for cooling down on a warm day, or on any day for pugs!

We hope you enjoy making these super easy but really tasty treats as much as your dog will love trying them!
