Get ready for a cute little Christmas home haul! I love Christmas! Even more so now we have two birthdays in December!
Teddy’s birthday is early in the month though so that means I now have to be super organised and get his birthday and Christmas presents, making sure he doesn’t miss out birthday wise because it’s so close to Christmas, plus Harry’s Christmas presents, without duplicating any he may have inherited from Teddy, and before others start buying! Phew I’m exhausted just thinking about it!
I do now have most of the gifts for the boys so I’m satisfying my Christmas cravings with getting the house ready and adding cute little homeware items!
I ordered this book from Amazon and it’s going to help me get my home ready for Christmas! With two boys under two I need all the help I can get to keep my home clean and organised and Mrs Hinch knows how to get the job done! My favourite tip so far is using Dettol spray and a green cloth she calls Kermit to clean my chrome bathroom radiator and all the mirrors! Not a smudge or smear in sight! I love that she’s not just about cleaning too, she’s such a genuinely happy smiley person that you can’t help but smile watching her Instagram stories!
I’ve started adding little Christmas touches around the house to get Teddy used to the idea of Christmas slowly. We’re talking lots about Santa and Rudolph and these are a perfect addition. Teddy loves washing his hands, and water in general, so these cute little bottles have been great. 99p from Home Bargains and refillable too!
Who doesn’t love a Christmas mug? This Next mug is my first mummy mug too so I’m in love with it even more! Who wants to see the rest of my Christmas mug collection?
A few years ago my mum added one of these gorgeous gingerbread candles to my Christmas box and every year since we’ve been to Home Bargains, before the run up to Christmas starts, to stock up as they sell out quite quickly! I’ve gone crazy for these white George at Asda geometric mugs lately too!
I’d been eyeing up this white stag head for a few weeks and could resist no longer when I wandered round the homewares section in Asda at the weekend! I also popped this cute little penguin wax burner in and some Santa’s Sugar Cookies wax that actually does smell like fresh out of the oven cookies! And lets face it who doesn’t love the smell of Christmas cookies?
All in all a great little shopping trip that’s really helped me start getting the house ready for the festive season!
When do you start getting your home ready for Christmas?
