Frozen Yoghurt Recipe

We love frozen yoghurt over here! And guess what, it’s soooo easy to make that we decided to share our recipe so everyone can enjoy some in the hot weather!

Teddy definitely loves frozen yoghurt, it must feel especially nice on his sore gums and Hugo and Holly can also enjoy this healthier option treat!

Supplies

Plain yoghurt

Favourite hound/human friendly berries

Lolly Mould/Blender

If you use frozen berries and yoghurt straight from the fridge you can whip this up and enjoy straight away. Just pop your yoghurt and frozen berries in a blender and whizz away. The frozen berries mix with the cold yoghurt and make a good yoghurt slushy that you can enjoy straight away! This is a great one for weaning babies and Teddy’s been having a yoghurt slushy mix after tea once a week for a few weeks. It’s a great way to introduce him to different berries & fruit too!

During this really hot spell we’re having in the UK I also love to freeze yoghurt into lollies to make a cooling treat Hugo and Holly can enjoy! Again it’s super easy, it just takes a little longer to set before they can enjoy it but if you make it in the evening they can enjoy it the next day!

Simply scoop your yoghurt into lolly moulds, filling them about 2/3 then add hound friendly berries, pop the handles in and freeze. I run warm water over the mould to get them out easier and then to avoid frozen tongues I run the lolly under the warm tap for a split second before Hugo and Holly have them.
